Kutty Kutchery Festival
The Kutty Kutchery Festival, held during Chennai's cherished Margazhi Dance and Music season, is a first-of-its-kind mega event that brings together small, intimate spaces across the city, connecting art, artistry, and audiences through invaluable performative conversations. This 10-day, 'free-for-all' festival celebrates diversity and inclusivity through remarkable collaborations between artists and local communities, using art as a powerful catalyst for social change.
Bhoomi Raga (Art for the Earth)
This initiative is designed to bridge the gap between traditional art forms and critical environmental and climate change issues, engaging young minds through targeted training and performance opportunities. It aims to revive indigenous art forms and provide sustainable career pathways for underprivileged artist families. It offers structured skill development programs for youth, utilizing recycled materials and plastic waste as a powerful medium for environmental advocacy. Through this innovative approach, we aim to inspire creativity, promote sustainability, and raise awareness about the urgent need for climate action.
Art-ஏ-Thunai (Art for Mental Health)
With Art as a companion, this project uses creative movement and yoga to promote mental health awareness among women and children from marginalized communities. Providing a structured approach to healing and breaking down the stigma around seeking help are essential components of mental health care. Using art as a powerful tool in therapy, this project offers individuals a safe space to express emotions and build a community that is informed, supportive, and empowering.
Hear I am (Art and wellness for the Hearing impaired)
An inclusive and empowering initiative designed to provide individuals with hearing disabilities in Chennai with specialized Yoga and Movement Therapy. The initiative will empower at least 1,000 individuals, offering free access to both in-person sessions and an online platform with training modules, resources, and educational content.
